10.1-Inch Android 16 Tablet Review: 32GB RAM, 128GB Storage, 1TB Expansion and Kids-Friendly Features
Introduction
Are you in need of a tablet for family entertainment, online classes, reading, and general browsing? This 10.1-Inch Android 16 Tablet comes with an octa-core processor, Full HD IPS display, expandable storage, and rotatable EVA case that protects it. Moreover, it has Google Play Store, Google Kids Space, and Family Link parental control features for all ages.
It has 6000 mAh battery, front and rear cameras, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, and wireless screen mirroring.
The Android 16 Tablet has these remarkable features and is worth considering if you are looking for budget tablets for everyday use .
Key features of the Android 16 tablet
1. 32GB Advertised RAM, 128GB Internal Storage, and TF Card Up To 1TB
According to the advertisement, this tablet has 32GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. On the other hand, the 32GB RAM consists of 8GB physical and 24GB virtual memory.
The virtual memory helps to increase performance by using some of the phone’s storage as additional RAM. Therefore, having 24GB virtual RAM does not mean that you have 24GB additional physical memory.
On the other hand, having 128GB internal storage is sufficient for your applications, photos, videos, and other digital data. Similarly, the advertisement says that you can use a TF card with up to 1TB to store extra data on the tablet.
2. T7280 Octa-Core Processor
The tablet has an Octa-core T7280 processor that is good enough for general use, streaming, social media, reading, and games.
You can use this tablet for your schoolwork and everyday tasks. As much as the processor is good for general use, you may need a better processor for more demanding applications and games.
3. 10.1-Inch Full HD IPS Display
The 10.1-Inch Android 16 Tablet has a full HD IPS display that covers a relatively large area for online classes, videos, books, browsing, and video calls. A good thing about the IPS display is that it has a larger viewing angle than many other display technologies. This makes it easy to watch videos and share your screen with others.
Moreover, you can read on this tablet more comfortably than on a regular smartphone. In addition, the advertisement says that this tablet has an Eye protection mode for a better viewing experience.
4. 6000 Mah Battery
This tablet has a 6000 Mah battery that allows you to use it for extended hours when connected to wifi or cellular data networks. Therefore, you can use it for streaming, online classes, games, and browsing without having access to a power bank or charging port.
However, you should consider that the battery backup depends on your screen brightness, wifi connection, and use of other features like video calling and gaming.
It is not easy to tell the exact backup hours because the advertisement does not mention how long the battery can last or how fast it charges.
5. Front and Rear Cameras
According to the advertisement, the tablet has a 2MP front-facing camera and an 8MP rear camera. The front camera is good enough for video calling and online meetings. Similarly, you can use the 8MP camera to take pictures and scan documents when necessary.
You may not take good pictures with the 8MP camera because the lighting and other factors affect the final image.
6. 360-Degree Rotatable EVA Case
The advertisement says that this tablet comes with a rotatable EVA case that protects the phone from shocks, scratches, and other damages caused by daily use.
A rotatable EVA case has many uses. Firstly, you can prop the tablet at different angles to view videos, attend online classes, cook, and type emails or messages. Secondly, you can carry it around without worrying about dust and other particles that can easily scratch it.
Nevertheless, you should not rely on this case to protect the tablet from all damages because it only offers limited protection.
7. Google Kids Space and Family Link Parental Control
According to the advertisement, this tablet has Google kids space and Family Link parental control features for parents and children. Therefore, you can install appropriate apps on the tablet and enjoy your family time without having to worry about what your children are watching or doing.
However, you need to configure the parental control features before giving the tablet to your children. You should also explore other options such as apps, content ratings, and other settings available for this tablet. Overall, these parental control features make it safe for children, and parents should set restrictions for their kids.
8. Google Play Store, Netflix, and Facebook
The advertisement says that this tablet has Google Play Store and other applications such as Netflix and Facebook.
However, you should note that not all apps are compatible with all devices. Therefore, you need to confirm whether your preferred apps work with this tablet.
9. Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, Eye Protection Mode, and Wireless Screen Mirroring
According to the advertisement, this tablet has Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, eye protection mode, and wireless screen mirroring features. For instance, you can connect the tablet to other devices using Bluetooth 5.2.
Similarly, you can use the GPS feature to navigate with some applications. Moreover, the eye protection feature allows you to watch videos comfortably.
The advertisement says that this tablet has 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz wifi, but the title says 5G/2.4G WiFi. Therefore, it is unclear whether it has 5G cellular network support.
It is essential to clarify whether you need a cellular network and whether the tablet has the relevant hardware to support it. The advertisement does not mention if this tablet has a SIM card slot or cellular network support. Therefore, you need to check whether this tablet has the necessary hardware for your intended use.
