16-Inch Laptop Review: Core i3, 16GB RAM, 512GB SSD & Windows 11 Pro

If you need an affordable laptop for school, business, office work, browsing, and everyday productivity, this 16-inch laptop offers a practical combination of performance and convenience features. It comes with a Core i3-7020U processor, 16GB RAM, 512GB SSD, Windows 11 Pro, fingerprint login, a backlit keyboard, and a 16-inch IPS display.

16-Inch FHD IPS Display

The laptop features a 16-inch 1920 × 1200 IPS display with a 16:10 aspect ratio. The additional vertical space can be particularly useful when working with documents, spreadsheets, websites, and other productivity applications.

The thin-bezel design provides a more modern viewing experience, while the 180-degree hinge allows the screen to fold completely flat. This can be convenient when sharing your screen with classmates, colleagues, or friends.

The display also includes anti-blue-light technology, which is designed to provide a more comfortable viewing experience during extended work or study sessions.

Intel Core i3-7020U Processor

At the heart of the laptop is the Intel Core i3-7020U processor, featuring 2 cores and 4 threads with speeds up to 2.3GHz.

This processor is intended for everyday computing rather than demanding professional workloads. It can handle tasks such as:

  • Web browsing

  • Microsoft Word and other office tasks

  • Email

  • Online classes

  • Video calls

  • Streaming videos

  • Basic multitasking

For students and professionals who mainly use productivity applications, the processor provides a suitable foundation for everyday work.

16GB RAM & 512GB SSD

The laptop includes 16GB of RAM, which provides plenty of memory for common multitasking scenarios. You can work with multiple browser tabs, documents, music, and other lightweight applications without relying on a small amount of system memory.

Storage is provided by a 512GB SSD, offering faster boot and application-loading times compared with traditional mechanical hard drives. The listing also mentions a 1TB SSD configuration, depending on the selected version.

Storage can additionally be expanded through the MicroSD card slot or external USB storage.

Fingerprint Login & Backlit Keyboard

One of the convenient features is the built-in fingerprint sensor, allowing compatible Windows login functionality without repeatedly entering a password.

The full-size backlit keyboard is useful for people who frequently work at night or in dimly lit environments. It also includes a dedicated numeric keypad, which can be particularly helpful for accounting, spreadsheets, calculations, and data entry.

The spacious touchpad supports multi-finger gestures for easier navigation.

Retro Green Design

Instead of the typical silver or gray laptop finish, this model features a distinctive retro green design. The unusual color gives it a more personalized appearance and can help it stand out in environments such as classrooms, libraries, offices, and coffee shops.

USB-C Charging & Connectivity

The laptop offers a useful selection of ports, including:

  • USB-C for charging and data transfer

  • USB 3.0

  • USB 2.0

  • Mini HDMI

  • 3.5mm audio jack

  • MicroSD card slot

It also supports 2.4GHz and 5GHz dual-band Wi-Fi along with Bluetooth, providing flexible wireless connectivity for compatible devices and networks.

The addition of USB-C charging gives users another convenient way to power the laptop when using a compatible charger or cable.

5000mAh Battery

The laptop uses an upgraded 5000mAh (38Wh) lithium-polymer battery. The manufacturer states that this is an improvement over the previous 4000mAh battery.

Battery runtime will vary depending on screen brightness, applications, Wi-Fi usage, video playback, and other factors, but the larger battery is designed to provide longer working sessions for school, business, and entertainment.

Windows 11 Pro

The laptop comes with Windows 11 Pro pre-installed and activated, allowing users to start working immediately after setup.

Windows 11 Pro provides a familiar environment for productivity applications, web browsing, communication, and other everyday computer tasks.

Included Accessories & Warranty

The package includes several useful accessories:

  • Laptop

  • Charger

  • Wireless mouse

  • Mouse pad

  • Keyboard cover

  • User manual

The listing also states 24/7 customer service, 100-day free returns, and a 730-day (2-year) warranty, providing additional support for buyers.

Who Should Buy This Laptop?

This laptop is best suited for users who need a computer for:

  • College and school assignments

  • Microsoft Office and productivity work

  • Web browsing

  • Online classes

  • Zoom and video meetings

  • Business documents

  • Email

  • Streaming entertainment

  • Spreadsheet and data-entry tasks

  • General home computing

It is less suitable for demanding gaming, professional video editing, 3D rendering, or other workloads that require a modern high-performance processor and dedicated graphics.
