KM23D Wireless Keyboard and Mouse Combo Review
The KM23D Wireless Keyboard and Mouse Combo is a full-size desktop input set designed for everyday productivity at home, in the office, at school, or in college. It combines an ergonomic keyboard with a wide wrist rest, built-in phone and tablet holder, quiet typing, a wireless mouse with adjustable tracking speed, and a 2.4GHz wireless connection.
The set is powered by standard batteries and includes a smart sleep mode to help reduce power consumption. Its Purple finish also gives the desktop setup a distinctive look.
Ergonomic Keyboard with Wide Wrist Rest
The keyboard features a 2.8-inch-wide wrist rest designed to provide additional hand and wrist support during typing.
It also uses a 10° tilt angle, which is intended to create a more comfortable typing position and help reduce wrist strain during longer work sessions.
For users who spend significant time typing documents, emails, assignments, or other content, the combination of the full-size layout and integrated wrist rest provides a more supportive setup than a compact keyboard.
Built-In Phone and Tablet Holder
A particularly useful feature is the integrated device holder built into the keyboard.
It can accommodate phones and tablets measuring up to 11.9 inches, allowing a secondary device to remain positioned directly beside the keyboard.
This can be useful for multitasking—for example, keeping a phone, reference material, messages, or another screen visible while working on a computer.
Important Connectivity Note
Although the keyboard has a built-in phone and tablet holder, the supplied product information specifically states that the keyboard and mouse cannot connect directly to tablets or phones.
The included USB receiver uses a standard 2.4GHz wireless connection for compatible computers and laptops. A USB-C dongle is not included.
2.4GHz Wireless Connection
The KM23D uses a USB wireless receiver to provide a 2.4GHz wireless connection with a stated range of up to 33 feet.
This allows the keyboard and mouse to operate without a direct wired connection to the computer, helping keep the desk area cleaner and more flexible.
The wireless system is designed for lag-free everyday operation, making it suitable for typing, browsing, office applications, schoolwork, and general computer use.
Quiet Typing and Mouse Clicking
The keyboard uses a soft membrane design intended to reduce typing noise. According to the supplied listing, typing noise is reduced by up to 95%.
The mouse uses Silent Micro Motion technology, which is designed to make clicking sounds almost completely silent.
This combination can be useful in shared environments such as offices, libraries, bedrooms, study areas, and home workspaces where excessive keyboard and mouse noise can be distracting.
Six Multimedia Hot Keys
The keyboard includes six dedicated multimedia and shortcut keys for frequently used functions.
These provide quick access to functions such as:
Forward
Backward
Refresh
Search
Stop loading
Calculator
Having these controls directly on the keyboard can reduce the need to navigate through menus for frequently used actions.
Six-Button Wireless Mouse
The included wireless mouse features six buttons, providing additional controls beyond a basic left- and right-click design.
It includes forward and backward buttons that can be useful when browsing websites or navigating compatible applications.
The mouse also offers three levels of tracking speed, allowing users to adjust pointer movement according to their preferences and workflow.
Battery Powered with Smart Sleep Mode
The keyboard and mouse are battery powered. The supplied specifications state that the set uses:
2 AAA batteries
1 AA battery
The batteries are included according to the product listing.
A built-in smart sleep mode is designed to help conserve battery power when the keyboard and mouse are not being actively used. This can reduce unnecessary battery consumption and help extend the time between battery replacements.
Productivity for Home, Office, and School
The KM23D is designed primarily as a productivity-focused keyboard and mouse combination.
Its full-size keyboard, wrist rest, shortcut keys, quiet operation, and adjustable mouse tracking make it suitable for activities such as:
Office work
Document writing
Web browsing
School and college assignments
Home computing
General productivity
Everyday PC and laptop use
The wireless design also provides more flexibility for users who prefer a less cluttered workspace.
Compatibility
The product information states compatibility with PC, laptop, Windows, and macOS.
The wireless connection uses a USB receiver, so users should make sure their computer has a compatible USB port.
It is important to note again that the listing specifically states that the combo cannot connect directly to a phone or tablet, and a USB-C dongle is not included.
