Samsung Galaxy A36 5G 2025 Review

The Samsung Galaxy A36 5G 2025 is a mid-range smartphone that combines a large 120Hz Super AMOLED display, 256GB of storage, 8GB of RAM, a 5,000mAh battery, and 5G connectivity. This international factory-unlocked model comes with dual physical SIM support and is listed as compatible with T-Mobile and its MVNOs in the United States, as well as global networks.

The package also includes a 25W fast charger, although it is important to note that the included charger is a generic accessory rather than a Samsung-branded charger.

6.7-Inch 120Hz Super AMOLED Display

The Galaxy A36 features a 6.7-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display with a 1920 × 2340 resolution and a smooth 120Hz refresh rate.

The AMOLED panel is designed to deliver vibrant colors, deep contrast, and clear visuals, making the phone suitable for watching videos, browsing social media, gaming, reading, and everyday smartphone use.

The 120Hz refresh rate can also make scrolling, animations, and supported games appear smoother compared with traditional 60Hz displays.

Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 Performance

Under the hood, the phone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 4nm processor, an octa-core chipset paired with an Adreno 710 GPU.

With 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage, the configuration provides plenty of space for apps, photos, videos, documents, and other files. The phone does not include a microSD card slot, so buyers who require expandable storage should take this limitation into consideration.

The device runs Android 15 with One UI 7, and the listing states support for up to six major Android upgrades.

Triple Rear Camera System

The Galaxy A36 has a triple-camera setup on the rear:

• 50MP main camera — f/1.8

• 8MP camera — f/2.2

• 5MP camera — f/2.4

For selfies and video calls, the phone includes a 12MP front camera with an f/2.2 aperture.

The combination provides users with multiple camera options for everyday photography, social media content, video calls, and capturing different types of scenes.

5,000mAh Battery

A 5,000mAh battery powers the Galaxy A36. This capacity is designed for everyday activities such as browsing, messaging, video streaming, social media, photography, and general mobile use.

The phone supports 25W fast charging, and the package includes a 25W charger. However, buyers should note that the included charging adapter is generic and not Samsung-branded.

IP67 Water and Dust Resistance

The phone carries an IP67 rating for dust and water resistance, adding protection against dust and certain water exposure situations.

This can provide additional peace of mind during everyday use, although an IP rating should not be interpreted as making a smartphone completely waterproof.

Dual SIM and Network Compatibility

This international model supports two physical SIM cards and does not support eSIM.

The listing provides extensive 4G LTE and 5G band compatibility, including several bands used internationally. In the United States, the seller specifically states that the device is compatible with T-Mobile networks and their MVNOs, but also warns that carrier compatibility is not guaranteed in every U.S. area.

Potential buyers should therefore verify network-band and carrier compatibility before purchasing, especially when using the phone outside the intended market.

Bluetooth 5.4

The Galaxy A36 supports Bluetooth 5.4, allowing it to connect with compatible wireless headphones, speakers, watches, keyboards, cars, and other Bluetooth accessories.

International Model Considerations

Because this is an international factory-unlocked model, buyers should pay attention to the regional details before ordering. The phone supports physical dual SIM cards but does not have eSIM functionality.

Carrier compatibility can also vary by country, network, and location. In the United States, the listing specifically identifies T-Mobile and its MVNOs while noting that compatibility isn't guaranteed everywhere.

Final Thoughts

The Samsung Galaxy A36 5G 2025 offers a strong collection of everyday smartphone features, including a 6.7-inch 120Hz Super AMOLED display, Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 processor, 8GB RAM, 256GB storage, 5,000mAh battery, triple rear cameras, IP67 protection, Bluetooth 5.4, and 5G connectivity.

The international model is particularly notable for its dual physical SIM support, while the lack of eSIM and microSD expansion are important limitations to consider.

The included 25W generic charger adds convenience to the package, but buyers looking specifically for an original Samsung charging adapter should purchase one separately.

Overall, this Galaxy A36 configuration is designed for users who want a feature-rich mid-range Samsung smartphone with a large high-refresh-rate AMOLED display, substantial built-in storage, and broad physical SIM/network support.
