LUNAR Eclipse L1 5G Unlocked Phone Review

The LUNAR Eclipse L1 5G Unlocked Phone is designed for users who want a large display, dependable battery life, 5G connectivity, and useful everyday features without spending too much. Running Android 14 and powered by an octa-core MediaTek MT6835/D6100+ processor, it offers a practical combination of performance and storage for daily smartphone use.

Large 6.79-Inch FHD+ Display

The L1 features a 6.79-inch FHD+ display, giving you plenty of screen space for watching videos, browsing websites, using social media, reading, and navigating apps. The larger panel can also be useful for GPS navigation and other tasks where a bigger viewing area is helpful.

5G Performance and 4GB RAM

Under the hood, the phone uses the MediaTek MT6835 / D6100+ octa-core processor with 4GB of RAM. Combined with 5G connectivity, the L1 is built for everyday activities such as web browsing, streaming, messaging, social media, and general multitasking.

The phone comes with 128GB of internal storage, while storage can be expanded up to 1TB, providing plenty of room for photos, videos, applications, and other files.

50MP Triple Rear Camera System

Photography is another important feature. The rear camera setup combines 50MP + 5MP + 2MP cameras with AI scene optimization to help produce clearer everyday photos.

For selfies, video calls, and online communication, the phone includes a 16MP front camera. This makes the L1 a practical option for users who want capable cameras at a budget-friendly level.

5000mAh Battery with 18W Charging

A 5000mAh battery provides the capacity needed for extended daily use. Whether you're working, traveling, using GPS navigation, watching videos, or browsing the internet, the large battery is designed to keep the phone running throughout the day.

The phone also supports 18W fast charging, helping reduce charging time compared with basic charging solutions.

Android 14 with Useful Features

The LUNAR Eclipse L1 runs Android 14 and is described as offering a pure Android experience without bloatware or ads. It also includes several convenient features, including:

  • Fingerprint unlocking

  • AI face unlock

  • GPS

  • OTG support

  • 3.5mm headphone jack

  • Child Mode

Child Mode can be particularly useful for families who want a more controlled environment for younger users.

Durable Design and Included Case

The phone has an IP52 rating for added protection against limited dust and water exposure. An included phone case provides additional everyday protection and can be useful for work, school, travel, and outdoor activities.

Carrier Compatibility

One important consideration is network compatibility. The L1 is advertised as compatible with AT&T, T-Mobile, Cricket, and other supported networks, but it is not compatible with Verizon.

Before purchasing, buyers should confirm compatibility with their specific carrier and plan, particularly when bringing an unlocked phone to an existing network.

No NFC

The LUNAR Eclipse L1 does not include NFC. This is worth considering if NFC-based features are important to you, such as certain contactless payment or device-connection functions.

Final Thoughts

The LUNAR Eclipse L1 5G Unlocked Phone offers a useful combination of a 6.79-inch FHD+ display, 5G connectivity, 50MP triple rear cameras, 16MP front camera, 5000mAh battery, 18W charging, 128GB storage, and expandable storage up to 1TB.

Its Android 14 software, fingerprint and face unlocking, headphone jack, GPS, OTG, and Child Mode add versatility for everyday use. However, shoppers should remember that the phone does not support Verizon and does not have NFC.

For users seeking a large-screen unlocked Android phone with 5G, substantial storage expansion, a large battery, and a practical camera setup, the LUNAR Eclipse L1 provides a feature-rich option in its budget category.

Their open-ear design sits outside the ear canal, while the adjustable earhooks help keep the earbuds secure during running, workouts, commuting, and everyday activities. What I Like The biggest advantage is the open-ear design . Instead of blocking the ear canal, the X-Open lets you hear environmental sounds while listening to music or podcasts. This makes them especially useful for outdoor activities where situational awareness is important. The adjustable earhooks provide a secure fit without requiring constant readjustment. They are designed to stay in place during movement, making them a practical option for runners and active users. Audio is powered by a large 14.2mm composite dynamic driver , which is designed to deliver clear highs and balanced bass. While open-ear earbuds generally don't provide the same level...
