✅ Pros

⚡ Reliable Everyday Performance

The MediaTek Helio G99 is one of the stronger processors found in budget Android tablets. It handles:

  • Web browsing

  • YouTube and Netflix

  • Social media

  • Video calls

  • E-books

  • Office documents

  • Casual gaming

Smoothly for everyday use.

📱 Compact & Portable Design

The 8.7-inch display makes the tablet:

  • Easy to hold with one hand

  • Comfortable for reading

  • Convenient for travel

  • Ideal for students

  • Lightweight for extended use

📶 4G LTE Connectivity

Unlike Wi-Fi-only models, this version supports 4G LTE, allowing you to:

  • Browse the web away from Wi-Fi

  • Stream content on the go

  • Use navigation apps

  • Stay connected while traveling

Important: This is an international model. In the U.S., cellular calling compatibility is limited, and the seller notes it is primarily compatible with T-Mobile. Many other U.S. carriers may not support voice calling or recognize the device's IMEI.

🔊 Dual Stereo Speakers

The dual speakers provide:

  • Clear dialogue

  • Better stereo separation

  • Improved movie watching

  • More immersive music playback

While they don't replace external speakers, they perform well for a compact tablet.

🔋 Battery Life

The 5,100mAh battery comfortably supports:

  • A full day of light to moderate use

  • Video streaming

  • Reading

  • Web browsing

  • Online classes

The included 15W fast charger helps reduce charging time compared with standard chargers.

📷 Cameras

Suitable for:

  • Document scanning

  • Casual photography

  • Video recording

  • QR code scanning

Front Camera (2MP)

Adequate for:

  • Video calls

  • Online meetings

  • Remote learning

Image quality is basic, which is typical for tablets in this price range.

📺 Display Quality

The 8.7-inch TFT display offers:

  • Good brightness indoors

  • Comfortable viewing angles

  • Decent color reproduction

  • Smooth One UI interface

However, compared to higher-end tablets with IPS LCD or AMOLED panels, the TFT display has:

  • Lower contrast

  • Less vibrant colors

  • Lower resolution than Full HD displays

👍 Best For

This tablet is ideal for:

  • Students

  • Travelers

  • Kids

  • Casual users

  • Reading e-books

  • Streaming movies

  • Web browsing

  • Video conferencing

  • Everyday productivity

👎 Limitations

  • TFT display instead of AMOLED or Full HD IPS.

  • 4GB RAM is sufficient for everyday tasks but may feel limited with heavy multitasking.

  • Basic 2MP front camera.

  • No eSIM support.

  • International model with limited U.S. carrier compatibility for voice calling; verify network support before purchase.

Final Verdict

The Samsung Galaxy Tab A9 4G LTE (64GB) offers a strong balance of portability, performance, and connectivity at an affordable price. The Helio G99 processor, 4G LTE support, dual speakers, and Samsung's polished software experience make it an excellent everyday tablet for media consumption, learning, and light productivity. Buyers in the U.S. should be aware of the international model's carrier limitations, but for Wi-Fi use or compatible LTE networks, it provides solid value.

Overall Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐☆ (4.4)

Best For: Students, travelers, families, and everyday users looking for a compact Android tablet with dependable performance, cellular connectivity, and Samsung's user-friendly software at a budget-friendly price.

Their open-ear design sits outside the ear canal, while the adjustable earhooks help keep the earbuds secure during running, workouts, commuting, and everyday activities. What I Like The biggest advantage is the open-ear design . Instead of blocking the ear canal, the X-Open lets you hear environmental sounds while listening to music or podcasts. This makes them especially useful for outdoor activities where situational awareness is important. The adjustable earhooks provide a secure fit without requiring constant readjustment. They are designed to stay in place during movement, making them a practical option for runners and active users.
