Redragon S101M-KS Wireless Gaming Keyboard & Mouse Review

The Redragon S101M-KS Wireless Gaming Keyboard and Mouse Combo is a feature-packed option for gamers who want the convenience of wireless connectivity without giving up the flexibility of wired operation. With tri-mode connectivity, RGB lighting, a 4800 DPI adjustable mouse, programmable controls, multimedia keys, and a long-lasting keyboard battery, this combo is designed for gaming, productivity, and everyday PC use.

🎮 Tri-Mode Wireless Connectivity

One of the biggest advantages of the S101M-KS is its three connection modes:

  • Wired USB-C

  • Bluetooth

  • 2.4GHz wireless

The 2.4GHz receiver is particularly convenient because the included 2-in-1 receiver can control both the keyboard and mouse, helping keep your desk cleaner.

The option to switch between wired and wireless modes also gives gamers flexibility when charging or when a lower-latency connection is preferred.

🌈 RGB Lighting

The keyboard and mouse feature RGB backlighting with eight lighting patterns. Users can adjust the lighting speed and brightness to create a gaming setup that matches their preferences.

The rechargeable keyboard is advertised to provide up to 300 hours of battery life with RGB turned off, which is impressive for users who want to minimize charging.

🖱️ 4800 DPI Gaming Mouse

The included mouse offers five selectable DPI levels:

800 / 1200 / 1600 / 3200 / 4800 DPI

This allows players to switch sensitivity depending on the game or task. Lower DPI can be useful for precise aiming, while higher settings can make fast cursor movements easier.

The mouse also supports software customization, including DPI adjustment, polling-rate settings, and remapping of its seven buttons.

With a polling rate adjustable from 125Hz to 1000Hz, users have additional control over mouse responsiveness.

⌨️ Gaming Keyboard Features

The keyboard includes 10 dedicated multimedia keys plus 12 combination multimedia controls, making it easy to control music, volume, and other functions without leaving a game or application.

Other useful features include:

  • WIN lock function

  • Splash resistance

  • Rechargeable battery

  • Detachable 6-foot USB-C cable

  • Programmable keys

  • Customizable RGB lighting

The WIN lock feature is particularly useful during gaming because it helps prevent accidentally pressing the Windows key and interrupting gameplay.

🛠️ Customization Software

Redragon's software allows users to customize several aspects of the setup, including:

  • Keyboard key assignments

  • RGB lighting

  • Mouse DPI

  • Mouse polling rate

  • Seven mouse-button functions

This makes the combo more flexible than a basic plug-and-play keyboard and mouse set.

💻 Compatibility

The S101M-KS is designed for Windows PCs, laptops, and computers, with plug-and-play functionality for straightforward setup.

The combination of wireless and wired modes also makes it versatile for different desk configurations.

Their open-ear design sits outside the ear canal, while the adjustable earhooks help keep the earbuds secure during running, workouts, commuting, and everyday activities.
