LG 32MR50C-B 32-Inch Curved Monitor Review

The LG 32MR50C-B is a large curved Full HD monitor designed for users who want an immersive screen for work, entertainment, streaming, and casual gaming. With a 32-inch VA panel, 100Hz refresh rate, AMD FreeSync, and gaming-focused features, it offers a solid combination of productivity and entertainment features at a reasonable level of specification.

🖥️ Display & Picture Quality

The 32-inch curved VA display provides a more immersive viewing experience than a conventional flat monitor. Its 1920 × 1080 Full HD resolution delivers clear images and vibrant colors for everyday browsing, office work, movies, and gaming.

The large screen is particularly useful for multitasking, although the relatively modest FHD resolution means it won't provide the same sharpness as a 1440p or 4K 32-inch monitor.

⚡ 100Hz Refresh Rate

The 100Hz refresh rate is a noticeable upgrade over traditional 60Hz monitors. Scrolling, animations, streaming, and compatible games can appear smoother, with less visible motion blur and stuttering.

For competitive gaming, however, gamers seeking extremely high frame rates may prefer a 144Hz, 165Hz, or faster display.

🎮 Gaming Features

LG includes several useful gaming technologies:

  • AMD FreeSync helps synchronize the monitor's refresh rate with compatible graphics hardware to reduce screen tearing.

  • Dynamic Action Sync helps minimize input delay for a more responsive gaming experience.

  • Black Stabilizer improves visibility in darker scenes, potentially making enemies and objects easier to spot.

  • The 100Hz refresh rate provides smoother gameplay than standard 60Hz displays.

These features make the monitor particularly suitable for casual and mainstream gaming.

👀 Reader Mode & Comfort

For extended reading and office work, Reader Mode reduces blue-light output to create a more comfortable viewing experience. The curved screen can also provide a more immersive viewing angle across the large 32-inch display.

The included stand supports tilt adjustment, allowing users to position the screen more comfortably.

🖱️ OnScreen Control

LG's OnScreen Control software provides an easier way to manage monitor settings and organize the desktop. The screen-splitting functionality can be useful when working with multiple applications simultaneously.

Their open-ear design sits outside the ear canal, while the adjustable earhooks help keep the earbuds secure during running, workouts, commuting, and everyday activities.
